“The 2020 movie Emerson Heights explores the idea of whether it's possible to pursue one's passion while also following one's heart. The movie tells the story of Cody McClain (Austin James), an aspiring actor in Los Angeles who falls in love with Briley Williams (Gatlin Green), a woman from New York. The two begin a long-distance relationship, but Cody's career takes off when he lands the lead role in a blockbuster film. He struggles to balance his newfound fame with his feelings for Briley, especially when his co-star develops feelings for him.

Some say that the movie is a cute love story that inspires viewers to look for real love. Others say that Austin James carries the movie, and that it was likely a passion project for him.
