Fall Reflections

I have no idea what you are discussing because I am doing my fall reflections. In my artistic practice, which encompasses both traditional and digital abstract painting, I have explored an extensive palette of colors. Over the span of more than three decades, I have consistently utilized hues such as blue, crimson, dark red, red, black, green, magenta, and yellow, each contributing to the emotional depth and visual complexity of my work. In addition to these primary colors, I have also integrated a diverse range of other shades into my compositions. These include earthy tones like brown and orange, as well as more vibrant colors such as gold ochre, purple, pink, gray, and white. Each color serves a specific purpose, whether it be to evoke a particular mood or to create a striking contrast that draws the viewer's eye. This careful selection of colors is fundamental to my artistic expression and the overall impact of my pieces.

Creative Entertainment

Quote found on the Internet  “The 1990s marked a transformative era for the entertainment scene in Washington, D.C., where the convergence of political dynamics and cultural expression significantly influenced artistic endeavors. As the capital of the United States, the city served as a vibrant backdrop for political dialogue, which was often reflected in the creative outputs of its artists. Various forms of media, including documentaries, performance art, and literature, emerged as powerful tools for addressing urgent social issues, fostering a deeper engagement with the public and prompting critical discussions on contemporary matters.” I was a student during the 1990s up until the late 1990s.

Gentle Rain

Gentle Rain. Digital art created on canvas. September 28, 2024. Afrika Abney The season of Autumn 2024 commenced just six days ago, and on this rainy Saturday morning, I woke up from my restful sleep a couple of hours ago. The sound of raindrops tapping against the window provided a soothing backdrop as I prepared to embrace the day ahead. This weekend, I have dedicated my time to focusing on my branding and delving into the creation of my digital artwork, both of which are essential components of my creative journey. Have a creative weekend.

Knowledge and ideas

“Knowledge at work is the knowledge, skills, and experiences that employees have that help them solve problems, make decisions, and be creative. It can also refer to the process of sharing and storing that knowledge within an organization.” “Ideas at work builds on the belief that people are special, can best unleash their creative and problem solving potential when they have purpose and autonomy, and work together in a culture of continuous improvement and learning. With a good dose of competence, energy and fun.” Quote found on the Internet  As a consultant, the knowledge and ideas I share are rooted in my comprehensive background and experiences within the consulting industry. Color relationships

Colors can be used to create a visual hierarchy, enhance communication, and stimulate creativity.Warm colors, such as red, orange and yellow, are associated with positivity, energy and excitement. However, when used aggressively, they might evoke feelings of anger and frustration. Colorful Weekdays

Colorful Weekdays. Digital art created on canvas. October 12, 2024. Afrika Abney Colorful Weekdays highlight the symbolism behind each weekday. According to my research, “each day of the week is linked to specific colors that carry distinct meanings and symbolism. Sunday is represented by the color red, while Monday is associated with yellow. Tuesday also shares the vibrant hue of red, whereas Wednesday is characterized by green. Thursday is again linked to yellow, Friday is denoted by blue, and Saturday is represented by the color black. The association of colors with the days of the week serves as a valuable tool in enhancing creativity and inspiration. By recognizing the colors tied to each day.” Red represents determination, while yellow represents optimism. On the other hand, green represents nature and tranquility. Meanwhile, blue represe...
