Black Friday

Where on earth are you obtaining your information? It is no longer the past, therefore, many of you have inaccurate information which is equivalent to a bunch of lies. Please do not send me a bunch of lies. If I have not posted anything new, that means someone has provided you with speculations.

“Black Friday is a significant retail event that occurs annually, typically the day after Thanksgiving in the United States. It marks the beginning of the holiday shopping season, with retailers offering substantial discounts and promotions to attract consumers. The term "Black Friday" originally referred to the point at which retailers began to turn a profit, moving from being "in the red" to "in the black." This day has evolved into a cultural phenomenon, drawing millions of shoppers eager to take advantage of the deals available both in physical stores and online.

The shopping frenzy associated with Black Friday often leads to early opening hours for stores, with some even starting their sales on Thanksgiving evening. Consumers prepare for this day by researching deals, creating shopping lists, and sometimes even camping out overnight to secure the best bargains. The event has expanded beyond just one day, with many retailers extending their sales into the weekend and beyond, creating a multi-day shopping extravaganza that includes Cyber Monday, which focuses on online deals.

In recent years, Black Friday has faced criticism for promoting consumerism and leading to chaotic scenes in stores. However, it remains a crucial day for retailers, as it can significantly impact their annual sales figures. The rise of e-commerce has also transformed the way consumers engage with Black Friday, allowing for a more convenient shopping experience that can be done from the comfort of home. As a result, Black Friday continues to be a pivotal moment in the retail calendar, shaping shopping habits and influencing marketing strategies for businesses across various sectors.”

I do not need to wait for Black Friday as I am an African - American.
