“The color palette of black, purple, and yellow serves as the foundation for my digital abstract artwork. My academic journey culminated in graduation in 1997, during which I explored a diverse array of subjects. Despite my extensive studies, digital art was not included in my curriculum. It wasn't until 2009 that I ventured into the realm of digital artistry.

The colors I have selected for my artwork are not merely aesthetic choices; they are deeply intertwined with my identity. Growing up in Washington, DC during the 1970s has profoundly influenced my artistic expression. The vibrant hues of black, purple, and yellow resonate with my experiences and memories, encapsulating the essence of my upbringing in a culturally rich and dynamic environment.

My journey into digital art has allowed me to channel my personal and professional history and cultural background into a visual form. The interplay of these colors in my work reflects not only my individual narrative but also the broader tapestry of American life.”
