Self expressions depicted through digital art

“Self-expression in the workplace can be an important aspect of diversity and inclusion. It can help create a safe space where people feel empowered and celebrated for their unique contributions. Self-expression is a key part of self-esteem and identity, and authentic expression can lead to positive outcomes. Self-expression can also have a positive impact on both the individual and the company. For example, people who feel more self-expressed at work may be more motivated and productive, which can increase business profitability. People who can express themselves well can also tap into the desire to feel valued, which can lead to higher performance.”

Thus resulting in building stronger connections between employer, employee, managers and those alike.

This piece exemplifies the innovative fusion of technology and creativity, a theme that Abney passionately explores in her work. Utilizing Medibang software, known for its versatility since its release in 2015, and a watercolor digital brush, the artist skillfully manipulates shades of red, black, and green to evoke a sense of depth and emotion. The composition invites viewers to engage with the complexities of identity in the digital age, reflecting my commitment to connecting with contemporary audiences and highlighting the transformative power of digital mediums. This artwork not only enhances any space with its bold colors and dynamic forms but also encourages a dialogue about the evolving relationship between technology and artistic expression.

My artistic journey commenced at NationHouse, where I observed the swift advancement of technology and its significant impact on artistic methodologies. This pivotal experience enabled me to explore digital art, fundamentally altering my perception of identity and self-expression. I am committed to examining the nuanced interplay between technology and art, with the goal of providing new perspectives that connect with contemporary audiences and capture the intricacies of the digital environment.

Observing my identity as represented in various forms of digital art provides a unique lens through which I can explore and understand my own self-perception. The intricate details and creative interpretations found in these artworks allow me to reflect on my personal experiences and emotions.

Engaging with digital art that portrays my likeness or essence invites a deeper contemplation of how I view myself in relation to the world around me. The diverse styles and techniques employed by artists can evoke a range of feelings, from nostalgia to inspiration, prompting me to consider the multifaceted nature of my identity. This artistic exploration not only enhances my self-awareness but also encourages me to embrace the complexities that define who I am.

The experience of seeing my image or persona captured in digital art fosters a dialogue between the artist's vision and my own self-concept. It challenges me to confront the narratives that I construct about myself and how they may differ from the interpretations presented by others. Ultimately, this interaction with digital representations serves as a powerful tool for personal growth, allowing me to navigate the intricate relationship between self-image and artistic expression.

Blank Canvas

In my digital abstract paintings, I integrate a variety of elements such as vivid colors, intricate brushstrokes, and a diverse array of lines, shapes, and patterns. Each of these components plays a crucial role in the overall composition, contributing to the dynamic visual experience that characterizes my work. However, prior to embarking on the creation of each piece, I take a moment to closely analyze the textured blank canvas that serves as my starting point.

The Industry of Politics

Quote found on the Internet  “The political landscape of Washington, D.C. in 1985 was characterized by a complex interplay of power dynamics, policy debates, and significant events that shaped the trajectory of American governance. This period was marked by the presidency of Ronald Reagan, whose administration was focused on conservative economic policies, a strong anti-communist stance, and a commitment to reducing the size of government. The political atmosphere was charged with discussions surrounding tax cuts, deregulation, and a robust military buildup, all of which were central to Reagan's vision of revitalizing the American economy and asserting its influence on the global stage. Moreover, the social movements of the 1980s, including those advocating for civil rights, women's rights, and environmental protection, were gaining momentum and influencing political discourse. Activism was on the rise, with grassroots organizations mobilizing citizens to engage in the polit...

Tranquil Inspiration

“In the realm of color psychology, blue-green is recognized for its ability to enhance creative processes. This vibrant yet soothing color can evoke feelings of serenity while simultaneously igniting a spark of imagination. In abstract painting, the use of solid colors as a background plays a crucial role in establishing the overall mood and tone of the artwork. These uniform hues can create a sense of depth and dimension, allowing the viewer to focus on the interplay of shapes and forms that emerge from the foreground. By employing solid colors, artists can evoke specific emotions or themes, guiding the audience's interpretation and engagement with the piece. The simplicity of a solid color backdrop can also serve to enhance the complexity of the abstract elements layered on top, creating a striking visual contrast that draws the eye. Ultimately, solid colors in the background contribute significantly to the narrative and aesthetic quality of abstract art, allowing for a rich ex...

Unity in Motion

“Unity in Motion emphasizes the importance of inclusivity and collaboration within the arts community, promoting a sense of togetherness. During my time at various art institutions, I encountered instances of racism and discrimination. These experiences were disheartening and highlighted the challenges faced within the visual art and dance community. Additionally, I faced issues with timely payment from several organizations, which further complicated my professional engagements. Despite my commitment to providing high-quality services, there were instances where payments were delayed or not received at all and raised concerns about the professionalism of the organizations involved. It is important to note that throughout my interactions with these companies, I did not render any services since I was last hired. The combination of discriminatory experiences, financial inconsistencies, and a lack of engagement from certain organizations highlights the importance for improve...
