Abstract realm

“The abstract realm is a domain of ideas that exist beyond the physical world and are considered to be non-spatial. Abstract concepts are essential elements of human cognition that shape our perceptions, decisions, and interactions. They are the building blocks of higher-order thinking, allowing us to grasp complex ideas, engage in symbolic reasoning, and formulate theories. Abstract concepts are also the essence of human creativity, fueling our ability to imagine, invent, and innovate.”

I utilize various digital applications to produce my artwork, which I then showcase through blog posts. This approach not only allows me to express my creativity but also serves as a strategic method for branding and self-promotion in my role as a consultant. By sharing my digital creations online, I can engage with a wider audience and establish a recognizable presence in the digital art community.

Through the use of advanced digital tools, I am able to craft unique pieces of digital art that reflect my artistic vision. By disseminating these works via blog posts, I effectively combine my passion for art with my professional identity as a consultant. This dual focus enhances my visibility and credibility, allowing potential clients and collaborators to appreciate my skills and insights in both the artistic and consulting realms.

The integration of digital applications into my creative process has transformed the way I produce and share my art. By regularly posting my digital artwork on my blog, I not only highlight my artistic capabilities but also reinforce my brand as a consultant. This method of sharing my work fosters connections with my audience, enabling me to build a community around my art while simultaneously promoting my consulting services.

“The realm of abstraction represents a sphere of thought that transcends the tangible universe, characterized by its non-material nature. Within this domain, abstract concepts play a crucial role in human thought processes, influencing how we perceive the world, make choices, and interact with others. These concepts serve as foundational elements of advanced cognitive functions, enabling individuals to comprehend intricate ideas, participate in symbolic reasoning, and develop theoretical frameworks.

Furthermore, abstract concepts are integral to the essence of human creativity, acting as a catalyst for our imaginative capabilities. They empower us to envision possibilities beyond our immediate reality, fostering innovation and invention. This creative potential is not merely a byproduct of abstract thinking; rather, it is deeply intertwined with our ability to conceptualize and manipulate ideas that do not have a physical form. As such, the abstract realm is vital for artistic expression and the advancement of knowledge across various disciplines.”

In my exploration of this theme, I created a digital painting titled "Abstract Realm." This artwork seeks to visually represent the intricate interplay of ideas that exist within the abstract domain. Through the use of color, form, and composition, the painting aims to evoke the essence of abstract thought, inviting viewers to engage with the complexities of human cognition and creativity.

DC Color Narrative

DC Color Narrative. Digital art created on canvas. September 16, 2024. Afrika Abney “The color palette of black, purple, and yellow serves as the foundation for my digital abstract artwork. My academic journey culminated in graduation in 1997, during which I explored a diverse array of subjects. Despite my extensive studies, digital art was not included in my curriculum. It wasn't until 2009 that I ventured into the realm of digital artistry. The colors I have selected for my artwork are not merely aesthetic choices; they are deeply intertwined with my identity. Growing up in Washington, DC during the 1970s has profoundly influenced my artistic expression. The vibrant hues of black, purple, and yellow resonate with my experiences and memories, encapsulating the essence of my upbringing in a culturally rich and dynamic environment. My journey into digital art has allowed me to channel my personal and professional history and cultural background into a visual form. The interplay of...
