Abstract realm

“The abstract realm is a domain of ideas that exist beyond the physical world and are considered to be non-spatial. Abstract concepts are essential elements of human cognition that shape our perceptions, decisions, and interactions. They are the building blocks of higher-order thinking, allowing us to grasp complex ideas, engage in symbolic reasoning, and formulate theories. Abstract concepts are also the essence of human creativity, fueling our ability to imagine, invent, and innovate.” I utilize various digital applications to produce my artwork, which I then showcase through blog posts. This approach not only allows me to express my creativity but also serves as a strategic method for branding and self-promotion in my role as a consultant. By sharing my digital creations online, I can engage with a wider audience and establish a recognizable presence in the digital art community. Through the use of advanced digital tools, I am able to craft unique pieces of digital art that reflect ...

Vibrant Abstraction

Vibrant Abstraction. Digital art created on canvas. 2022. Afrika Abney The interplay of red and blue in this artwork is particularly noteworthy. The bold reds radiate warmth and vitality, symbolizing passion and energy, while the tranquil blues provide a counterbalance, instilling a sense of calm and serenity. “A serene workplace can help employees focus and be more productive.A serene work environment also has a direct impact on employee well-being. Dishonesty

I would appreciate it if you would refrain from claiming that you don't recognize my identity. The fact is, if you engaged in my services at any point between the 1980s and 2019, you are fully aware of who I am. It is disingenuous to pretend otherwise, and I would prefer a more honest dialogue moving forward. It’s important to acknowledge that your assertions about my identity are misleading. If you have employed my services from the 1980s through 2019, you undoubtedly know who I am. I urge you to stop this pretense and engage with me in a truthful manner, as it undermines our professional relationship. I find it necessary to address the ongoing misrepresentation of my identity. If you have hired me for any services between the 1980s and 2019, you cannot genuinely claim ignorance about who I am. Let’s move past this dishonesty and focus on a more transparent and respectful interaction.

Spectrum Serenity

Spectrum Serenity.Digital art created on canvas. August 12, 2024. Afrika Abney “The spectrum of blue hues presents a captivating array of colors that evoke a sense of calm and tranquility. From the soft, delicate whispers of baby blue to the deep, profound richness of navy, each shade carries its own unique emotional resonance. The lighter tones often remind one of clear skies and gentle waves, while the darker shades can evoke the depth of the ocean or the vastness of twilight, creating a visual experience that is both soothing and expansive. Exploring the various tones of blue reveals a world of possibilities, each shade telling its own story. Cerulean, with its bright and cheerful disposition, can instantly uplift the spirit, reminiscent of sunny days and open horizons. In contrast, the moody allure of cobalt blue can draw one into a more introspective state, inviting contemplation and reflection. This diversity within the blue palette allows for a rich interplay of emotions, mak...

East of the Anacostia River

““East of the River” was simply a geographical description without particular significance. But, it later became how some describe the neighborhoods east of the Anacostia River — often with a negative connotation. During the 1930s and 1940s, land development of the area continued alongside increased racial diversification of the region. At the end of World War II, white flight into suburban Maryland and Virginia resulted in a majority-Black Anacostia. The Anacostia River watershed in the District of Columbia and Maryland is home to more than 800,000 people, 43 species of fish and some 200 species of birds. The watershed has been heavily urbanized over time, losing 6,500 acres of wetlands and 70% of its forest cover. Over the past four centuries the Anacostia has been given many names: the Eastern Branch of the Potomac, the other national river, the dirtiest river in the nation, the forgotten river.” I am dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals and famil...
